When Sasha was a young girl, she started a pin collection. Every pin she received from her school’s book reading programme, every button badge she collected from local bands, and every souvenir she gathered from overseas trips went onto a small decorative tapestry, until there was no space to fit any more, and it sagged under the weight of her collections.

Several years later, she is thrilled to be able to make her own button badges, and excited at the thought that other people might be collecting her badges this time. She hopes each badge will hold positive memories of each individual’s experience with her.
